The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, which represents a group of advanced economies, lowered its projection for Brazil’s economic growth in 2014 to 1.8% as doubts remain over the impact of still accelerated inflation, rising interest rates and a sluggish recovery of growth abroad.
